4th of July rules.

Heyyyyyyyyy everyone, it's the greatest holiday next to Christmas and I had a fun nite. Tommorow is looking equally nice, too bad a test has to ruin it all on tuesday. None the less, today i went to Gil Kerr's house and went out on the boat with ashlee and matt, and amanda and her sis + bf came too. It was a good time for sure. After that manda peaced out and we played some volleyball, ate more food, and chilled and watched fireworks. AWESOME. The only curious thing was the absence of Dave Smith who pumped up this party more than anyone who was at it. Furthermore he wouldn't answer his phone nor did he reply to messages, something very unlike himself. Otherwise a wonderful day on the beach, and an excellent prelude to the second best holiday (Christmas rules) of the solar year.* (Technically, Easter is the most important holiday, in conjuction with Christmas, but it's just not as fun eating a lot of candy when compared to watching explosives burst in the sky.)

Lastly, I've decided to close these wasteful journals from now on, with either a funny thought/saying/open ended question. I will signal these with a +++ at the beginning and end of each one. Today, that would be this:
+++A peacock who sits on his tail is just another turkey.+++
