Dude, it's always about Yuri as far as Flynn is concerned. 8D Always has been, always will be~
Have you worked out any particular reason why?
Yuri's issues about his self-worth to Flynn obviously stems from the fact that even though they always fight and there's really no dominant personality no matter how much flynn wants to be in their friendship, it's pretty given that Yuri admires Flynn. It's not worship, but he gives credit where credit is due, and having a friend that does everything so well doesn't necessarily kill your self-confidence (Yuri's wayyyy too pragmatic for that), but it ends up making that "bar" you're trying to reach seem a lot higher than it might actually be.
So why do you think Flynn's so focused on Yuri? Is it a big brother complex--if so, how did that come about, you think? Yuri seems pretty self-sufficient. And even going past that into Fangirl Delusions...
once he's got Yuri tied up safely and securely in his bedroom as a permanent fixture.
So, I saw this 4coma that had Flynn in his office, getting upset that there was another wanted poster out for Yuri post-game...
Only the "camera" panned out and you saw that Flynn had blown up the picture on the wanted poster and it spanned the entire wall behind his desk...

Not really. I mean, it could be a fuckton of factors, especially since it's not at an obsessive level. XD;; We may joke about it, but it really, really isn't. They have an obscenely healthy relationship for a fucking JRPG. Flynn just wishes Yuri would pop the question already. =| He's got the ceremony all planned out and EVERYTHING!

That's god's own truth, right there.
That's why I kinda make frowny faces at the people that were upset that we didn't get a HUEG EPIC BATTLE against Flynn or anything. I do think the game kinda handled the "two sides of justice" kinda poorly (as in, they just uh, FORGOT about it), but I'm totally all over the fact that we don't have to kill/face off/deal with stupid friendship issues like we do in every jRPG ever. I'll say that biggest plot twist Team Symphonia has given me with this game is that A) Flynn doesn't die and B) Flynn doesn't turn evil. Cause I so totally predicted one or the other or both happening because Flynn is a best friend character that believes differently from the main hero.

=( One day, Yuri comes and visits through the window and notices all the wedding catalogs stacked on Flynn's desk.
