wowzers, it has been forever (aprx. one month) since i've updated this thing. really, not so much has been going on. here is a brief overview of some sort of important things:
*internal conflict pants*
i really should explain this....so jenny ko and chris and i were walking back from something or other together and we were making fun of emo kids. not someone in particular but just in a light-hearted sort of "oh dear how lame and bitchy you are" sort of way.
so we happened to notice the pants of one especially hot topic consumed soul. they happened to be the classic, baggy, black, many-zippered/pocketed pants.
noting how the pants were dragging quite horribly on the ground and acting as a large broom of sorts (collecting dirt, grime and the odd candy wrapper that reside on the floors of school hallways) they were (of course) very ripped and frayed at the end.
after we all made a point to mention the pants, we couldnt very well figure out why on earth someone would wear their pants in such a pathetic manner (i suppose it's the pants that make you want to run up to them yelling 'cheer up little emo kid') so we decided that the pants must be symbolic of something
we then settled on the idea that the pants were a sign of the child's internal conflict, showing their inner pain with the many rips in the cheap fabric of the pants and that the pants were to be dragged along mercilessly as an indication of their tormented dark life or something along those lines
being the idiots we are, jenny ko, chris and i found this utterly hilarious
more or less at that precise moment, another emo/goth/hot topic student passed us by. chris, being chris, said something along the lines of "he's got external conflict too" which was true, the poor brute's make-up was done so terribly i almost felt inclined to take him aside and give him a few pointers...
we laughed some more and i went off to my AP psychology class in an elated mood
there is a second meaning to the phrase "internal conflict pants" it is something that was almost as humorous as the first...see if you can guess what it is
*homecoming week*
homecoming week was more or less okay, the classes were easier than normal and dressing up puts me/people in a good mood
-i dressed like alice/poker maid on monday which was tacky day
-i went twin with loli on tuesday wearing a child sized devil costume, she was adorable, as always, i felt like an idiot
-i was an art nerd, all hail warhol, though the gold phone wasnt dry in time for me to carry it around offering to talk to god for people. let me tell you, i felt really sexy in that black turtle-neck
-i was a french maid part of the day, then i got fed up with it and changed back into jeans, t-shirt and top-hat. i skipped the pep rally because, honestly, they are the lamest things in the entirety of creation
-i was a cat/yaoi-loving Japanese Culture Club enthusiast. i went to my first period class and part of second period and spent the rest of the day setting up/at our both. we sold out of pocky within the first half hour because some dumb ass decided that he would buy about 12 boxes...::glares:: and then we sold lots and lots of ramen. woooo, go JCC!! there was also DDR in one of the chemistry rooms. it smelled terrible in there, probably because of will ::insert childish 'eeeew' here:: and then there was a raffle and we gave away prizes and fun stuff weee!!
-i had too many energy drinks/cups of coffee
homecoming week also meant enchanted forest, which would've been funner had i not been losing it, but it was pretty cool anyways cuz i love maria-sempai and jenny ko!! i was 'sam i am' from dr seuss's 'green eggs and ham' and jenny was 'pam i am' and maria was our wonderful director!
we memorized our lines within half an hour or so of arriving at our performance spot (thursday night was with the tree and the bench and i liked it lots of lots) we were amazing and our prop (singular) was very low budget ::grin::
kuiper is a rather funny man to converse with i have found. he likes tim burton and follows harry potter. at first i thought he was scary, and now i just think he's kinda quirky but pretty okay. he has a kid named riley and that's a really snazzy name
back on topic, friday i crashed after school from too much caffine and started dying during enchanted forest
but beforehand at maria-sempai's house i was pretty okay at DDR (i like 'la senorita' the best cuz you can actually sort of dance to it and hear the beat)
all of this leads up to the actual homecoming
*homecoming*
was stupid beyond all reason. i had fun before hand with mel, stephy, tiny and loli. they are all fun. they all looked pretty. especially melissa. stephy was all cute and super punk-rock and loli was...::tries to remember what exactly she was::
loli was a burlesque-victorian-vampire-hooker-girl if i remember correctly. but it was amazing, really amazing.
and tiny is just really super cute always
i'm not even going to continue about the actual dance because i didnt and there was bad music and it smelled and it was stupid
*the mole*
in chemistry we had to make a mole, mine was a slug. with yellow leather on the bottom and nails where its eyes should have been.
the end
*jessica-sempai's halloween party*
was amazing and made me happy beyond belief. i was little red riding hood and was adorable if i do say so myself (which i just did and i dont understand that saying at all)
jessica was alice in wonderland and ryan was the mad hatter (jessica-sempai made the outfit! she's so great!!!)
stephy and mel were there, so were lotsa other cool peoples. we played DDR and listened to halloween music and i had fun! ::<--doesnt happen a lot::
THE VERY BEST THING IN THE PAST MONTH OR SO HAPPENED AT THE PARTY!!!
we ran out of Bawls energy drinks and i wanted apples, so jessica-sempai sent me and ryan to get 'em at publix! (well she really just sent ryan, but i wanted to go too, so i did) and i got to ride on the motorbike! it was amazing. so much fun and i want a motorbike of my own now! we got lost on our way to publix, kinda, and these weird people were talking to us at a red light. i was all 'um...go away pervs' on account of my skirt having the tendency to fly up (it was all very anime-esque)
upon arriving at publix or whatever, i mistook the flower section for produce and then we found what we wanted and stood in line talking loudly about 'weekly world news' which is something i love rather a lot.
being in our costumes and all, we recieved many a strange look and found ourselves conversing with many people in the line in front of us, including a woman who had lost her husband to a motorbike accident. that wasnt very reassuring, but i knew that me 'n ryan'd be okay cuz i had the gundam/power rangers helmet on.
we got lost again (kinda)
it was the best adventure that i shall ever have i believe
then we got to tell scary stories!!! mine were the best. and will is a real emo kid. and the other stories were still pretty . i liked the one about the tail.
we all got shivers and it was a good thing my father came to pick me up from the party when he did because otherwise no one would've gotten any sleep at all that night ::evil laugh insert here::
*the theatre*
i went with three of my female cousins, my younger sister, my mother and my pal kaitlyn (sp? oh dear) to orlando on sunday to have dinner at the cheesecake factory (yums!) and see 'the king and i'
dinner was good, we tried some new stuff, i was obnoxious, and we talked a lot about france and streakers and funny stuffs like that.
i also came out of the bathroom stall with my skirt tucked into my knickers which made kaitlyn start laughing very hard and made me laugh as well and fix myself up before returning out into the restaurant.
what? they were my slytherin panties, house pride and all that, so i'm not ashamed at all
i was attacked by a spoon on the way out and made an ass out of myself in front of a very good looking waiter-boy
the play was very good, kaitlyn and i could hardly stop ourselves from singing along and it was freezing in the theatre.
all in all, very good.
*halloween*
wasnt that great ::pouts:: i barely went trick-or-treating at all and rosie could not accompany me so when i did go trick-or-treating it was with my younger brother and his friend ::le sigh::
but my father was willy wonka! he was amazing! really great, super chouette and all that jazz. he really is the best, and if i can figure out how to, i'll post up some pics of him (and maybe me in my little red riding hood costume)
i think that's more or less it for this months updates. nothing really that special, ne?
i started to download this really great yaoi/manga called 'okane ga nai' which is currently eating up my hard drive. but on the plus side i transfered all of my harry potter doujinshi onto two discs so i can take it off of my laptop and relieve it of its large burden, poor electronic device ::pats laptop::
i'll post this piece i did of erin (quarante__deux) based off one of her amazing photos from monday i think. i do so love that girl, she is amazing, and i'm actually rather happy with the artwork (it's called 'sakana' or 'fish' in japanese)
i need to buy that book 'anansi boys' by neil gaiman, i saw it, but had no money at the time, so i'll go back this weekend and get it ::happy anticipation::
another thing pertaining to neil gaiman that i must do: i must see mirror mask! but i dont know where or how, i'll check the site again
that should be it, and i have rather a lot of homework to do ::shrug:: maybe tomorrow i'll do it
-best if eaten by march 16, 2006-
