Hey all. :)
How's it going?
Been busy at work. We've had a crazy great amount of adoptions the past couple weeks. Yay! I guess now that the summer is winding down people are ready to commit to a new pet. *shrug*
We're still thinking about moving back to Wisconsin. Weighing the options. Move there before the year is out or wait til spring and save like crazy between then and now? Buy or rent? Preferably buy. With how much rent is there you can buy for about the same amount. What area to buy/rent? lol. lots of questions. :) I'd like to stay in Waukesha County. I never was too terribly familiar with Milwaukee outside all of the main attractions. Which reminds me wow i miss brewers games!! I've gone to a few of the local Salem Redsox games. Minor league team. W. O. W. lol. Every game is more comical than anything. The second baseman getting hit in the back by a ball thrown to him on a play from the outfield is my favorite to date. I mean, he wasn't even LOOKING for the ball. He was just standing there and then BAM! got hit right in the middle of his back when his team was trying to get the runner out. There's this guy that goes to every game that we've been to and he sits up in the upper deck general admission and just YELLS and heckles everyone the entire time. He's wonderful. ^_^ The Sox don't have sausage races, though. And I'd trade Yelling Man and the second baseman for one of those. And a hot dog with secret stadium sauce for old time's sake. They do have a rubber chicken fling for little kids and sumo suit wrestling. But still....I miss cheering on the one and only #3 Italian Sausage. YEAAAAAH! :) :) Oh!!! and the redsox have this sing a long with the team song "Sweet Caroline" and every time I hear it i just think how creepy and inappropriate the lyrics seem to be when everyone's singing.... And how pervy is Neil Diamond to write a song about an eleven year old Caroline Kennedy that involves so much TOUCHING!
Anyway, still planning on moving. Just figuring out the best game plan for it. I do hope you'll all want to hang out. :)
Rachel how was your birthday? I didn't see a birthday post in your lj! I megafailed and forgot to post. This month has been getting away from me. :( Sorry.
