I have just found my new favorite quote:

Now, I don't want anyone to think that if you object to a war, even the war we are currently engaged in, that I think that you are a miserable creature - but if you think that there is nothing in this world or life you are willing to fight for in order to keep, then you *are* a miserable creature.
