new day... sorta
Well, I woke up feeling a bit better this morning...
despite going to bed at 8:30 and not having to be up again until 9:00 this AM, I didn't get a great nights sleep... I kept waking up with sharp pains in my gut, followed by me having to run to the bathroom... not anything close to fun, let me tell you! Being completely out of the norm for me, I am trying to keep the disgusting down to a bare minimum... heh... it wasn't fun, but perhaps the worst is over..
Regardless of how I felt, I knew that I was going to be coming to work today, so it's just as well that I feel slightly better... still having to be at work when you feel like someone is stabbing you in the guts is not a lot of fun... more so, probably, when you work in a restaurant...
Oh, before I forget and make this post all about me and my poor self (heh), let me send a birthday shout out to steph74!! Woot! I'll be at trivia tonight, no worries... hopefully I'll even be early - depends on when the other manager cuts me loose this afternoon or evening... Happy Happy!!!
Other than the birthday greetings, the other good thing going on is that vacation starts when I walk out the building today... HELL YEAH!!! I might be a bit under the weather, but everything is better when you are on vacation! Dragon Con starts tomorrow, and my 'inside guy' got me a comped 4 day pass... way cool! I'll check into my hotel on Friday, but Thursday looks to be fun as well, as
