OFFER: Custom story and character by last year's WisCon GOH

Feb 28, 2011 12:54

I'll write a short story dedicated to you and publish it on my web page, for all your friends and fans to enjoy!

Details:

- you get to pick the gender, race, age, and other reasonable identifying characteristics of the main character. They need not be human.
- you can suggest other details about the protagonist
- you get to pick the name of the character too (although if it's too hard to work with, I may ask you to try again)
- you get to pick the genre of the story (SF / fantasy / mainstream / erotica / steampunk / mystery / etc.). I'm not good with horror, westerns, or cyberpunk / super-hard-SF, but will try if that's what you really want.

- the story will be between 2,000 - 10,000 words
- the story will be written and published on my site within a month of the auction ending. (If you have a site / blog / magazine and want to publish it there first, that's probably fine; I reserve the right to then publish it on my site within a few months, and/or resell it elsewhere. We can discuss the details.)

So for example, you could say you wanted an erotic SF story about Jane Smith, an African-Australian beauty with a dark past. And I would do my best to work with that. :-)

Fun!

Starting bid: $25
