I have had a brilliant realization. My favourite carving medium is pumpkin. Foam pumpkins are almost as good as real pumpkins and they are made of _foam_ so there must be something out there that is of a similar consistency that I could carve.

If another has any suggestions as to things to try, please let me know! I am looking for permanent things
