1. Have you been happy with your decision to attend Alma? What causes this happiness?
I was extremely happy with my decision. What I thought would take weeks or even months, (finding my group and connecting to friends) took less than 1 week. Although it is more than apparent that they are nothing like friends here--i'm figuring out that our friends don't exist elsewhere--i still enjoy them and am happy.
2. Currently what is your favorite band/artist?
Won't/Can't answer. I will say that my musical taste is expanding to now include jazz (Artie Shaw), and even a little more hip-hop.
3. What is your favorite expression of art?
Right along the lines of umber two. I wouldn't call it a favorite but what speaks the most deeply to me would be photography, particularly black and white photography. It moves me.
4. How would you compare the current summer that you will be experiencing to last years summer?
BUSY! Fortunately and yet sadlyi will not be going to Colorado. They didn't answer quick enough and so i decided to stay back. Plus i didn't take the opportunity to apply for a job in San Francisco as an Asst. Camp director at a christian deaf camp. I will be able to make my own hours and will be doing much-o manual labor so all-in-all i'm really excited. Plus many a nights with friends and plenty o' traveling.
5. What about yourself has changed the most, can you explain this change (why have you changed/what caused it.)
I think in a word, Fraternity. I don't feel that i've become a 'frat boy' because Sigma Chi at Alma isn't like that. But i do know that i have changed because of it. The fact that i joined ans stopped blindly hating them i think is a big change. As to why, i have no idea. It appealed to me, so i did it.
