Waiting for Snow,,,,
Yes, in our Carolina tradition, the whole Triangle area is waiting, holding their breath and hording milk and bread for the mighty.... flake! The newscasts since dawn speak of noting else! And yet..... I see nothink! No-think!
Oh well, I have a day off from serving coffee at Starbucks and am happy to be home and kind-of-sort-of painting. I woke up in quite a funk. It has been going on for some time now. Yes... the D-word. I fight as hard as I can, but lately..... I find that I have allowed it in. Makes me mad. I thought I could tame the beast but no..... Starbucks keeps me busy but all the while I am longing to get back to my Life, Myself.... but then, I have a day off and what do I do? Nothing.... just mop around, feeling blue, sleeping and eating..... checking Facebook as if..... something Life altering was waiting for me there!
God, I hate feeling this way.
But I did will myself into my tiny studio today and I do feel better.
The real sick-o thing about Depression is that you know that certain things will help lift your mood.... but if you are having a bad day..... you just don't love yourself enough to do them!
Well, today is better than last week...................
Ah the mail!
Maybe my Million Dollars has arrived!
