So Georgie boy won the election. Well, folks, welcome to the future asshole of the world. My theory is that for every 2 years that Mr. Reformed-Coke-Addict spends in office is another generation that will be spent repairing what he undid. On the slightly brighter side

The absence of WMD is a GOOD THING. That means our soldiers didn't get gassed with bioweapons when we invaded and kicked him out. It's all about protecting our interests and not allowing that bastard to have become any kind of palpable threat.
Quadaffi gave up his weapons program shortly after the invasion: why? Because he was scared out of his wits, just like he ought to have been. Was this a bad thing in your opinion? I'm not sure I understand your argument: SHOULD we invade North Korea and risk a nuclear war?
Hmmm, could we possibly be in debt because September 11th cost us billions of dollars and we have had two wars in three years to destroy the people who attacked us? Gee, how shocking that the excess money collected by tax-and-spend liberals during peace time is now gone!
As for Clinton's wonderful economy, that was due entirely to the Reagan tax cuts taking effect and the Silicon Valley bubble --- had NOTHING to do with Clinton, although his failure to nationalize healthcare with huge tax increases surely helped to keep our economy afloat. The increasing globalization of our economy also ensures that the president has less and less control over it --- if China goes into a depression or starts booming that has a MUCH bigger effect on us than anything Allan Greenspan could do. As for outsourcing, that's called capitalism: if we wanna compete we better get with the program and produce goods and services that are better and cheaper. Without competition there is no innovation.

If the message to terrorist nations is "you are next" then lets just wait and see if they really are. I guarantee you that they aren't.
The absence of WMD is a good thing, for the soldiers, who just wind up getting killed by insugents anyway. However, it means that we went into Iraq with false pretences. The fact is, we have no way of knowing if he would have attacked us if he did have WMDs anyway. Hell, Saddam was even willing to let the UN back into Iraq to inspect. Yes, this war was about protecting our intrests. Our intrests in oil.
No, we should not invade North Korea because, as you pointed out, we would risk nuclear war. However, I would like to point out that both Iran and North Korea were on Bush's "Axis of Evil." You must remember that. I'd also like to point out that if the Bush administration really was convinced that Saddam had WMDs then we took as much of a chance going into Iraq as we would if we were to go into North Korea.
Another thing, Saddam didn't attack us. Osama bin Laden, who, by the way, we never did catch, and the Taliban attacked us. That is why we went into Afghanistan, and rightly so. However far more lives and far more dollars have been spent in Iraq. By now it seems like Afghanistan has been completely forgotten. Because of this war in Iraq the economy is the lowest its ever been even during World War II which, I believe, was a bit more massive than the war in Iraq.
I agree, if China's economy goes down, the whole world goes to shit. That is a pretty obvious statement. Outsourcing doesn't help the blue-collar American worker, however. You're absolutely right that we need to produce better and cheaper goods but we can do that right here in America instead of shipping jobs overseas. Maybe instead of cutting down on American jobs corporations could cut down on the untold millions that they pay their executives. These people have more money then they could ever possibly need. They ship out jobs so they can get even more money. They don't need it.
