Huh?
So, the new Australian PM ratifies the Kyoto Protocol which, seeing as the US and Australia where the only 2 'developed' nations not to have done it, and given the high rate of CO2 emissions per capita Down Under, you'd have thought it would be fairly major news. But no! I had to search for a good 3 minutes on the BBC website before I found a little story, tucked away.
I guess 'bridge players told to smarten up' is an infinitely more exciting story...
