This man is *literally* a genius. I thought this programme was ever so slightly naff (lots of random scenes and no real info on how he first started painting etc.) but I really enjoyed it and his wonderful personality certainly shines through. He described his paintings as being like small portals that you could imagine looking into and peer around at the rest of the scene, which is what I've always thought :) If only I could afford one of his paintings!
