1. From your newer post it looks like life's better now. Is it really?
Yes, these last 6 months or so have been the worst of my life but things are so much better now. And while they'll never be exactly as they were, in some ways they are better. In every cloud, a silver lining :) I'm just looking forward now and have (just about!) stopped dwelling on the past.
2. What was the dissertation that made you create an LJ account?
It was for my masters degree in environmental law and was entitled "Learning from the past: Evaluation of the PPC regime and how lessons learnt can help with the implementation of the forthcoming Environmental Permitting Programme." I know it sounds a bit dull but was actually very interesting once I got into it!
3. What was your first reaction for "hello LaLa TV"? Did it change since?
My first reaction was HAIR! Not really liking Guy's I must say but I thought Little John's dreadlocks are looking very cool. Then it just made me wish that the new series was on already. Merlin's ok but it's a pretty poor substitute :(
4. Do you fall in love / become obsessed easily?
No, I don't fall in love easily but I do become obsessed very easily. Usually the obsession is, whether it be with a person or music, passes reasonably swiftly. It has got me into trouble before now.
5. (Lame question, but it's the last and was the hardest to come up with.) What musical instrument(s) do you play? Or what kind of musical instrument you'd like to play?
My main instrument is the flute and I also have a piccolo and alto flute. Other instruments I play (in order of ability!) are:
Recorders
Whistles
Bass guitar
Guitar
Melodeon
Bodhran
I'd really like to play the cello or double bass though...maybe one day!
