Although I've been applying to combined MA/PhD programs, apparently I'm already qualified for an MA. I suppose if I can get the transcripts in time, I could even start applying to PhD programs that require an MA, assuming I haven't already missed the deadlines. Too bad they don't offer PhDs, though - that could save me a ton of time!

After leaving a message at the Seattle number and posing as Mr. Hamilton Kitton, they called me back the next morning from a Dallas number. The guy spoke with an Indian accent and got right down to business, asking about my past experience and what kind of degree I was looking for. I cut him off and asked how much this whole thing would cost. When he said $900, I wished him a nice day and hung up.
