Dear Adobe:
Please make your automatic updater suck less.
60gb of traffic in 2 days because 3 machines decided to download Acrobat Reader 9.12 a few hundred times, wasn't fun.
Especially when the ISP charges by the gb after 30.
Worst of all, the damn thing never did finish installing.. Running the updater manually downloads the update(i can see it in the proxy logs, and in the bandwidth monitor), but never actually does anything with it.
So kindly DIAF. :)
Now if only the users had complained to ME rather than each other that the network at the plant was slow, I would have caught it at about 3 gb of traffic.
