This is the greatest two-frame fistpump in video game history.
The two-frame fistpump is a curious artifact of the 8 and 16-bit eras. It exemplifies a time when storage space was hideously cramped (and animation was hilariously stiff as a result). So you got things like the spastic onlookers in the background of Street Fighter and the iconic two-frame victory dances present in just about every RPG until the 3D era. Pretty common, actually.
But this example is uniquely awesome because, lo and behold, it's a full-screen two-frame fistpump. I don't think this particular videogame cliche has ever been used on such a tremendous scale before or since.
