it all comes down to this: "Class 06272006, prepare to graduate."
Having completed 12 weeks of technical training at Keesler Air Force Base, and having graduated as an Air Force 3C031 and as Top Graduate in a class of ~50, I am now taking 12 days of leave before moving to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ. THANK YAHVO I'M GETTING AWAY FROM HERE.
Leave is going to be fun. I'm going to Georgia to see my parents for 10 days or so, then flying to New York to watch my sister play at Carnegie Hall! That will be awesome. Very much looking forward to that.
So, they tell me that in the operational (i.e. non-training) Air Force you don't have to march everywhere... :D :D
