(no subject)
"So," you ask, "why hasn't computersherpa done a real LJ update in so many weeks and months?" Answer: Because my life is boring. 
But then, that's not so unusual, is it? So here's what's going on.
I work in the Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) section of my base's Communications Squadron. We keep track of all the computers on base so people don't make off with them. A couple months ago my office got merged with the Help Desk. I'm not sure why--it's much harder to concentrate with the TV going and the Help Desk folks yammering about football--but I'm sure there's a good reason.
World of Warcraft is going pretty well. Sherp (my mage) hit level 70 long ago and is slowly climbing the gear charts, Ahrotahntee (my guild) is slowly progressing through Karazhan, and Svyetlii (my new paladin) is in his late 20s and climbing. Fun times. With my guild's invaluable assistance, I'm producing a machinema comedy; I'll be sure to post it here when it's done.
Orson Scott Card is an incredibly good sci-fi writer. Better than Heinlein, probably. His books are like exquisitely-written sci-fi, multi-subject parables 500 pages long. <3
