Java instillation problem

Question/Problem: Whenever I try to install or update Java it comes up with the following messages (under the cut).

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Operating System, Version and Service Pack: Windows Vista

Web Browser and Version: Firefox 6.0.2 (and sometimes Internet Explorer 8)
