Auto-play of certain media
Question/Problem: In Vista, when I right-click and select 'open with' -> 'choose default program' -> 'always use the selected file to open this program' it works fine for me, and will henceforth always associate .xxx file with the program I pick it out with. Now, however, in Windows 7, it seems to like jumping between two programs - it will play my video files (such as .avi for example) in VLC when I manually set it to, but after I play my music files in Winamp, it'll reset all my video files to play in Winamp which I do not want. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong because the same steps I used in Vista doesn't work on my new laptop...I've also gone into the Control Panel to try setting the default player for video and audio files, but it also did not work. (There's probably a really simple answer I overlooked, but...|D)
