Lateline just showed us Howard bribing the elderly for the grey vote - $100 to $500 pension rise (to start from March 2008).
Costello was saying hello to the little kids as well, getting family votes.
(Kinda figures they're campaigning to the people who need them most that can't really understand as well as they used to/will later in life. Meanwhile Rudd was visiting school students - looked like High Schools - and chatting to callers on the more popular radio - Nova, JJJ or the like.)
Also, David Hicks' release has also come with a 9 month S.T.F.U gag order, a leak from the US gave a tip that it was part of a fixed deal between the Bush and Howard governments to shut Hicks up until the Elections on both sides are over.
This was on Lateline, not sure if these streaming videos include tonight's stories though. Might need to check later for updates.
