Oct 18, 2007 00:30

The best titles from the mega-sized list seem to be:

Wii:
(October '07 through April '08.)

Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast (Nintendo)
LOONEY TUNES: ACME ARSENAL (WB Games) - Hmm, anything would beat the NES' 25th Anniversary mess.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Activision) - Slash: no hack!
The Simpsons Game (Electronic Arts) - They announced BONUS content for Wii
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground (Activision) - No sign of Skate yet.
Namco Museum Remix (Namco Bandai) - Retro arcade action with polished look optional!
Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party (Konami)- Looking at you Tydestra.
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (LucasArts) - Fun of using the Force plus point and click!
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Sega) - The team-up we never saw coming EVER back in 1991.
Super Mario Galaxy (Nintendo) - I prophecise that the next one will be Super Mario Universe! And then Super Mario Dimensions! And then Super Mario Chronosphere...
Rygar: The Battle of Argus (Tecmo) - Back after a 20 year vacation, like all retro heroes these days!
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Sega) - The game series a console death couldn't kill!
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo) - Now with added Sonic and Solid Snake!
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (Sega) - For the Sonic addicts, there seems to be surplus Hedgehog gaming.
Mario Kart Wii (name not final) (Nintendo) - Now with bonus Steering Wheel!

DS:
(October '07 through April '08.)

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Nintendo) - Looks like Windwaker, plays with wild controls!
The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night (Sierra) - Spyro + Darkness!
LOONEY TUNES: DUCK AMUCK (WB Games) - Holy shit! Who trapped an interactive cartoon skit in a DS?! O.o
THE SIMS 2 CASTAWAY (Electronic Arts) - Those not physically ill from the endless Survivor spin-offs might like this.
Napoleon Dynamite (Crave) - Oh dear. Hit or miss? Bear in mind there was a "Doctor Who" game made once too. And it sucked MIGHTILY.
Need For Speed ProStreet (Electronic Arts) - Rev-heads rejoice!
The Simpsons Game (Electronic Arts) - with bonus PET HOMER! Yes, feed him, poke him, cameo couch-sitters, paddle his chest when he has a heart attack...no, really!
Dementium: The Ward (Gamecock) - A mix of wierd shit and First Person Shooter - here's hoping it's more System Shock 2 than Super Noah's Ark 3D.
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground (Activision) - Whoa, deja vu, except...smaller.
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (LucasArts) - Whoa, deja vu, except...smaller.
BOOGIE (Electronic Arts) - How the hell will this work? Is the mic THAT good?
Geometry Wars: Galaxies (Sierra) - Colourful, old school shooter meets new school tech.
Mario Party DS (Nintendo) - Mini-character mayhem!
Godzilla Unleashed Double Smash (Atari) - SCREAAAAAAAHHHHHHHRRRRRR!
FINAL FANTASY XII: REVENANT WINGS (Square Enix) - FF fix for the addicts among us! mia76? Better camp now. ;)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Activision) - More and more shooters for the lovers of fictional violence.
Clue/Mouse Trap/Perfection/Aggravation (DSI Games) - Wow, does anyone use boards for games anymore?
Contra 4 (Konami) - Bring on the TRUE sequel!
Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command (THQ) - Battle MINUS the little figures! Geekery ahoy!
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword (Tecmo) - Bring on ANOTHER TRUE sequel to a classic!
My French Coach (Ubisoft) - Francais?
My Spanish Coach (Ubisoft) - ¿Que?
My Word Coach (Ubisoft) - It is indeed.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 (Ubisoft) - The limb-less one returns!
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (Nintendo) - Nintendo's own style of C&C-style strategy returns!
New Zealand Story Revolution (Ignition Entertainment) - Holy hell! Retroitis!
Bubble Bobble Double Shot (Ignition Entertainment) - Holy bubble spitting reptilians Batman!
Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft) - I swear that one's real, if scaled back.
Harvest Moon DS Cute (Natsume) - The first was liked by a lot of people.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Sega) - Sonic better hope Mario isn't packing any stars, mushrooms or shells...

All of these and I WHITTLED like crazy to shorten the list too!
You're insane enough to look at them all?

Be my guest!

Imagine, this is only the released games, not counting new releases for Wii's Virtual Console!
