F is for *Fan*atic...
Jeremy Sims, an awesome actor who was in several Aussie shows/movies (a favourite being Idiot Box), at one time played a memorable character called "Rorf", a dog or wolf-like bounty hunter on "Farscape" (Rorf - 3 episodes, 1999-2001).
Just a few months ago, he directed a movie, Last train to Freo, which stars Gigi Edgley, who was "Chiana" on Farscape (AKA Chi/"Pip"/"Grey Girl"), now sans make up for the film!
Only made the link because she mentions doing the role on her site!
"In a couple of weeks I am returning down under to Australia to promote a feature I shot last year, "Last Train to Freo". It was accepted into the Australian Film Institute along with 15 other features. I will be travelling to Perth and Sydney for the openings."
This is both a cool and geeky finding, and the film got a good rating. Missed the film's release. Bugger.
Oh well, time to go invade the DVD shops!
