NOVA: I made it!
I got to the city on time!
Made it in time and managed to brush shoulders with Keith "K.G" Cunningham as we mused about how often the lifts with dodgy tech malfunction.
(Old guy in the middle - he's kind of like the Kent Brockman of Sports, either works for 9 news sports as well, or DID a while ago.)
Funny thing was, I didn't realise it was him until I buggered off out the lift he ascended in, when I clicked: "Wait, 5AA radio, same building as NOVA FM. WHOA."
It's hardly A-list, but it's still a "holy crap!" moment.
After that, I collected my shiny new toy, browsed a few comics(with no cash, how would I buy it?), sorted out some more important University stuff, and got my arse home to play with my new half-black, half-SHIIIIIIINY silver Nano.
Oh yeah, and the secondary prize I got when I was at NOVA? An album by Pharell. I hated his "Number One" track so much I gave it away to a chick at the University that knew his work. She was a happy gal, and her friends were kinda mystified, like "How the hell did she just score a free CD for nothing?!". XD :)
