Hicks' military trial ruled 'illegal'
THE US Supreme Court has ruled that the military commissions set up by the Bush Administration to try Guantanamo Bay detainees, including David Hicks, are illegal and have to be abandoned.
Considering David is both from my city AND he's a low-level operative at worst, he should be tried in AUSTRALIA, or at worst, in Britain as a citizen of the Commonwealth, not on that hellhole with little to no defense.
(It's good to see, that even with a fucked up government, that the US legal system still has a reserve of sanity left.)
