It didn't click with me until I SAW "Samurai Jack" premiere (And what a big huzzah Aussie TV gave it - THREE A.M. Chalk up another cult screwover by Channel "NEIN!". I thought it rocked, the cult influence either from or by the East making it even cooler, with stylised shots and dialogueless scenes. Bloody brilliant, and ORIGINAL!)
I had seen a music video with a stylised clip, based on the Chinese myth of 9 suns in the sky, 8 needing assassinating or the Earth would die(or that's the vague tale summarized).
It clicked that the clip was animated in EXACTLY THE SAME STYLE as Jack.
On that, can anyone tell me who the band was, and what the name of the track was?
