Life and its turns
For those of you who have wondered where I have been, it has been a very tumultuous time.
My youngest son is involved in some legal issues. He was “accused” of being involved in a fight, but it turns out that one of the kids who said he was involved is ready to absolve my son of all involvement. I am hoping this boy will have a written statement for my son since he has to go back to for another court appearance this coming Tuesday.
The biggest thing, however, involves me. The company I am working has decided to lay me off effective April 4. There are some moves afoot to possibly extend my former assignment for some amount of time, but I’m not relying on that. I have been on a job search for almost 6 weeks, but so far nothing has panned out (internally or externally). I’m not giving up. There are many people working to help me, and I am hopeful something will come around soon.
I am keeping my chin up as best I can, but a few prayers and good thoughts this way would be helpful.
I’ll keep all of you posted as best I can.
