rumors of my demise...
I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, everyone. I just got hit with one of the worst sinus infections in many years.
It started when my 15 year old came home from a friend's house with a nasty hacking cough. Apparently, something had broken on his friend's air conditioner and they slept
in a very cold room. My wife caught a glancing blow of it.
But not me - it bloomed on me Tuesday while at work. Chills, fatigue, congestion etc. By the time the day ended, I had a massive headache - and my sinuses were pounding
the anvil chorus. To top it all off, I picked up an infection in my eyes as well.
And here it is Friday...I am probably back to about 70-ish percent, but definitely not good enough to go to work. I want to be at 80% or better for Sunday (my oldest son
goes back to college) and at least be up to 95% by Tuesday so I can go back to work.
For all of my US friends - enjoy the long Labor Day weekend. Everyone else, have a good weekend.
