Wow - where HAS the 2006 gone (so there Viejito!)
It is so hard to believe we are in the month of December. It seems only a month or so ago I was flying to Orlando with my family
to partake in the Disney World expereince again.
The biggest event of the year was my oldest son's graduation from high school. He did pretty well - graduated with honors. He is
now a freshman at the University of Hartford and enjoying his studies -- and freshman life - quite a bit. He had some tough
encounters with his first set of roommates - they decided to bring up about 7 or 8 friends and drink in the dorm room as my son
was trying to do some stuff. He reported them and they started ragging on him to the point of sending rather obscene
messages via the internet. So he requested and was granted a room change. It has made a big difference.
The youngest, now a high school freshman, is blooming into a real smart cookie too, but with one of those "What, me worry?"
attitudes, which can be good or bad. It has been mainly good right now, so we will have to see.
My wife is back woring for the schools again, and her health has been pretty good, although she is undergoing some physical
therapy due to a foot injury. Hopefully there won't be any more surgery in the works.
As for me, I am just plugging away, hoping to find some time in the next few weeks to do some holiday shopping for my relatives
and family.
