Mini-update
A bit of time has passed since my last updated, so I figured now was a good time.
I have been hit with my first cold of the year (thanks to my wife). I'm about 2 days behind her. My nose feels like it is stuffed with cotton and my sinuses are playing the Anvil Chorus.

My oldest son is adjusting to college life. He has joined in a few activities (college TV station, paint ball etc.). He is, however, without his laptop. The hard drive made a "click"
sound a couple of days ago, then fell silent. We took it to Toshiba and they said it was RIP. So, we are waiting for the new hard drive and then we will get it back (sometime
in the next 3 to 5 days - sooner hopefully). He has gone to his professors to get extensions on papers and stuff, and most have been accommodating.
The youngest boy is adjusting to high school life. He has had a bit of trouble with one particular band faculty member who has been comparing him to his recently-graduated brother
(the college boy above). My wife went in and spoke with another band faculty member who assured her that it would be taken care of and that the other person should NOT
make that type of comparison.
My wife is back at her job in the High School Cafeteria, but she wants out. She checked with the bank we use, but they do not have any positions that match the hours that she wants, so
she continues to look.
As for me, life has been busy at work and busy at home. This is kind of my unwinding time right here, and I enjoy the opportunity to use the PC for fun things
Hope everyone in the world of LJ is well. Fall is making its entry in these climes, which means the year is starting to wind down.
