*is walking down the hallway in search of a certain pink dragon that has gone missing* Mikage..? Where did you go?

*sighs and reaches up to rub the back of his head* He's never run...*pauses when looks up and sees the dragon's namesake*

...*eyes widen* ..Mikage..?

[Blinks a few times in surprise at that, a confused expression flashing over his features. It hasn't all clued in that he's actually not in heaven yet]

*heart kind of stops..trick of house? Maybe..actual Mikage? Maybe..Dream? Also possible. Shakes his head a little to snap out of it*

I..this is..What are you doing here?

[Thinks for a small moment, recounting the last things that had happened before he nods firmly and offers a small smile; though it's a touch sad in nature]

I'm still wondering that myself.

I thought this was heaven... but it wouldn't explain how you're here too, Teito. You're too stubborn to die so easily.

*expression changes from surprise to sadness and looks down at the ground* This isn't heaven..It's Compound. A strange house that can do anything..even things you wouldn't expect. *like bring back the dead*

[Hearing that is a bit daunting and unexpected, yes. But it does mean he's back with Teito and this time there's noone like Ayanami around to pull anything like what he had before.

However, it is enough that he can deal with it though.]

Can't say I was expecting to arrive at a place like this after all that...

[Shakes his head and he smiles brightly, resisting the urge to hug his best friend for now]

Though now that i'm here, why don't you tell me more about this place? Gotta get acquainted with it if i'm gonna be here a while~

*wonders just how long that will be..doesn't trust this place to pull you right back out of his life. Looks up though and looks around at it* Well..you'll have to find a room. I'm rooming with Frau right now since..*reaches up almost unconsciously to touch the slave collar*..well he was the only one I knew when I got here.

The rooms can attack you though so you have to be careful. *will almost timidly move a little closer to you instead of standing a safe distance away*

[Glances to the collar, vaguely remembering Ayanami being the one to put that on him during the fight. But he is glad to hear that at least Frau was here to have taken care of his friend while he wasn't here, really.

Though at the mention of 'attacking rooms', it does get his interest and he raises an eyebrow curiously]

How exactly can these things attack you? They'd gotta be alive or somethin' like that and it shouldn't even be possible~

[He'd also noticed that nearly timid way Teito'd moved closer to him and only further makes that smile on his face seem more permanent and uplifting his mood]

Trust me they can..it's really frustrating sometimes. And if you fight back and destroy parts of the house then you get punished. The kitchen throws things at you if if doesn't like you. *frowns and looks clearly not pleased with the arrangement. He couldn't count the number of times he had gone to battle with the kitchen*

This place practically is alive. The whole house can change in an instant. And it can turn you into anything it wants..or dress you anyway it wants. *frowns more as remembers the dress he was stuck in not too long ago*

[This only makes him curious as he wants to know some of these instances as it sounds like Teito had really been here for some time to know all of this. He chuckles and all at once regains all his energy hearing abour all of this]

Sounds like a pretty fun place if you ask me~

I'll have to see this crazy kitchen for myself sometime. We never had anything like that back at the academy.. or the whole changing-clothes thing!

Well as soon as you want something to eat you'll have to encounter the kitchen. Though I go to the cafe a lot instead since the food just kind of appears in front of you out there.

*there is a slight touch of a smile on the corner of his lips as he watches Mikage. It had been over a year since he had last seen his friend and although it was dificult to just fall back into the comfort he had before with him..it was nice to see him again*

[Again, all of that just sounds so fascinating to him. Food that just appears? He's REALLY gotta try that stuff if it does something like that! With that renewed energy he looks around the hallway before looking back to Teito happily, glad to see him smiling like that even now]

Then why don't we try one of those places and then you can tell me all about the time you've been here? Sounds like you've been here awhile and I wanna know all about it~

Oh..yeah sure. Come on. *starts down the hallway to head to the front entrance. He'd rather chance the cafe then deal with the kitchen* I guess I have been here for almost a year now. It..doesn't feel like that long.

*so much had happened in that year that he wasn't sure he would be able to tell MIkage about all of it..then again there were some things he wasn't sure he should say*

A year? Though I just saw you before I got here! [It's gonna take him a bit to get used to all of this, following after Teito eagerly]

If there's a lot to say then just tell me the more interesting things! It couldn't have been that boring in a place like this, could it?

Time doesn't move here in the same way that it does back home. Frau is from a completely different time period that I am. He didn't even know you or what happened..*that made him pause. It was hard to believe that the very person he had watched die was now walking with him to the cafe. He quickly shook himself out of that stupor and looked over*

People come and go here all the time. That keeps things interesting as well as the games this place plays. I've never really been changed into much of anything but it can change people into animals or even change their genders.

[Pauses a bit hearing all that as it's a bit surprising in itself. Though at the same time it's fairly fascinating to hear what this place can actually do to people which explains the rather eager, happy grin that he's currently wearing]

Sounds pretty fun if you ask me~! I suppose at some point or other i'll get to probably have one of those things happen to me~
