Am almost home....

Have moved back to my home for about a week now but everything is still in a mess. The renovations have been delayed due to shoddy work (we can paint better than 'em) and I have requested that things be rectified.

Already, the paint has began peeling, no thanks to them (they actually diluted the paint @@ or used inferior quality brands to save cost); I am still stuck with a bathroom with 2 towel racks and a towel holder knob while another bathroom has none. Have one built in bookcase with no door handles (wonder if they know how to count). They had removed my curtain railings with pulleys and replaced them with railings without, and installed them at a different height such that we had to ask them to shift them up again (or else change our curtain lengths). I have 3 bedrooms with additional holes to patch and repaint as a result... *sigh* and the list goes on.......

On the bright side:
-bro has signed up for broadband so that he could communicate via web cam with his wife in Tokyo. I get to use it when he's not around :D
-Started bible studies again with a really "ah beng" pastor as our teacher.
-Watched Spidey 2 finally, thank God I do not have height phobia!
-Caught up on other movies on dvd.
-on 5 days leave this week so I'll be busy shopping and cleaning and unpacking (should it be completed by Wednesday).

Work wise, tension has been horrible for the past month due to the cold war between colleague and I. The former has never accepted me fully as the leader of the team, and giving her work instructions are proving to be a challenge. Her selfish work attitude is also affecting the rest of the team. She may say that patients come first but her actions showed otherwise. On the other hand, she seems to be getting more aggressive lately going against me, has even launched a smear campaign to all who would listen to her, made complains to my immediate boss about my supposedly "bully" behaviour while giving excuses for herself.

Mediation is afoot, she left me with no choice. The rest of the team has been supportive of me, in fact, I find support from the most unexpected quarters.

Trust God that this matter will be resolved according to His will.

(it is now almost 11am and no workers in sight, really makes me wonder if my flat renovations will ever be completed on time).
