Wow! Almost the end of the second week of 2008 already. Time really does fly!
Back working at School again with the computer setup and relocation. It looks like we're starting to make some progress on the apparently unending list of things to do. I believe there's actually more green highlighter on the three pages than there is white paper left. Probably a good thing to since I have only 2 more weeks left before I finish up.
Following that will be volunteering for
Linux.conf.au, which should be quite an interesting little occasion. I mean, come on, it has Bruce Schneider there.... And if the rumors hold true... maybe even Linus Torvalds! (Yes you can get the soap and hose
janusd)
I had also been talking to one of my past lectures about the new Informatics course that will be introduced this year. He had asked if I'd be interested in helping them out before Uni starts. I had thought it might be one or two days... I've just found out it's a whole month of Student Work. So now I'm going to be working on some of the new curriculum, some Python programming and project design. Woot! It should all be very helpful for putting some skills and funding behind me for the Exchange in September.
After that's all over it's back for another semester of Uni. I still need to fix my course up so I can fit the exchange in, but I'll probably do that while I'm working in the city.
