House and inaccuracies

Medical TV shows try to get it right, sometimes. But, they also often miss. One little detail in a recent episode of House: a mention of methotrexate, obtaining it from Canada, and being too expensive. Though this amount may be for a small dose, without insurance, a month's supply cost ~$4, at least when I was last on it. Yes, that's cheaper than the generic price you'd have to pay through normal pharmacy benefits with most insurance companies.
