attending NAMM
I attend NAMM (private music products expo) when I'm able. I have my badge this year. I still need to decide if I'll be able to attend. It's starting to look less likely due to health issues. I have a few days to decide.
I was looking forward to hopefully seeing a prototype of the LinnDrum II collaboratively designed by Roger Linn and Dave Smith. Announced at the last NAMM in January 2007 and originally named BoomChik, it is currently expected to be released mid to late 2008. I was also hoping to check out the various sampled piano software packages. The rest would be a surprise.
