bands from a recent trip
I didn't travel with my old (good) camera. So, there weren't really any good shots. The howling at the moon shot is actually from years ago, but of the same band. Here are a couple of the bands I saw.
Temper
Sam Black Church (20-year reunion show)
Look carefully at the first SBC shot (in color). You'll see the ghost of Jet stage diving (up and to the left of the bright light).
I also saw Cello Chix (very nice arrangements of classic rock tunes for two cellos and drums), Chaz (aka Charlie Chesterman) & the Legendery Motorbike, The Lyres, The Neighborhoods, The Shods, and The Gravel Pit. The last four bands were playing as part of Brett Milano's book release party for his latest book The Sound of Our Town (history of Boston rock and roll).
For a trip that was only intending to include one band, there was great serendipity in allowing me to see all of these good bands and more friends than originally planned.
