On Food and Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen. A confluence of events related to him have me mentioning it again. When having a discussion recently about teaching science together with nutrition with a friend whose work has an effect on health education in California schools, I mentioned Harold as someone to talk with, though more related to cooking and science. searching through parts of On Food and Cooking. Harold
posted a note about it today with a search box on his website that uses Google Book Search. I also noticed the access via Google before reading his post when searching for accurate and up-to-date links.
