So yesterday I went with my dad to pay the mortgage because my mom couldn't. We stopped at the bank, got monies, and then we stopped at the mall so that I could run in and pick up the two books I had on hold at the library. I got Fight Club (Chuck Palahniuk), and it was a really awesome read. Yes, I did read it all already, and I'm reading it to 'Lin at night because it's short chapters. It differs so much from the movie. They moved a lot of things around and stuff. But it was an awesome read and I'd recommend it to anyone who's seen the movie without reading the book, because the book... just... wow. <3 It explains a lot that I didn't quite pick up in the movie. -coughs- The other one is Nightseer by Laurell K. Hamilton. I had this book before and read through it partway but it mysteriously disappeared one day. I swear I didn't lose it. It was in my backpack when I left school, and when I got home it was gone. I retraced my steps, even. (I walked to and from school in the 5th and 6th grades because the bus was a horrible example of how elementary school kids can grate nerves like a cook grates cheese) So... yeah. Now I'm finishing it. It's funny, though - I found a reciept from Game Stop, returning two PlayStation memory cards, in the book, with 'Who's your daddy?' written on the back in sparkly green gel pen. Reminds me oddly of Fuzzy's handwriting. ._. Wtfever. XD It's SO my new bookmark. <3 I'ma start reading Nightseer today. :D
And I totally trailed off on the book rant. So we went to Western Union, sent the money for the mortgage, and went to Carl's Jr. See, dad goes inside, mom does the drive through. So they were talking about SuperStars with cheese, right. And the employees there call 'em SuperCheeses. ...That's only funny if you already know the phrase. Rofl. =x That was amusing. Even though the SuperCheese didn't agree with my body and I got the runs, bad. o.O I blame society. My dad didn't talk about anything in the car at all. Which kind of disappointed me. I wonder if he'll ever say anything to me about ANYTHING.
...On that note, 'Lin is HOOOOOOME. :DDDD I slept SO well last night. She had to go to work, though. Some event.. thingy. But. She's homeee. -skree- mesohappy.
