I am weirdly happy right now because I've just discovered the reason I've been kept awake for the past three nights. There was a cricket in my printer. Seriously. I actually thought I was hearing things or going crazy or something. I couldn't tell where it was coming from exactly and the noise would stop and start at odd times. It's been loud

we had crickets for a while when the kids were keeping mantids and they drove me insane! i had to put them out on the verandah. too bad if another critter found them and worked out how to get into the box!

oh, and i LOVE reading rec posts. i love seeing what people enjoyed and why etc. and there's always something that i missed/skipped over for whatever reason. BBB is so overwhelming, and i've been busy so i've read so much less than i have intended to.

Me too! It's great when I end up loving a fic I previously passed over, but the rec convinced me. And yeah, BBB is hugely overwhelming, I'm lucky to have had time at the mo to keep up.
