Ok, so there are a few things I've been meaning to post about for a while now.

First off, Amazon. What's happened is horrible, and annoying, and basically, sucks. There are many posts already on this, from various places that explain it much better than me so I'm just going to link to a few.

The amazon thing is fucking bs, and it makes me angry.

I'm really, really iffy on DW, partially because I've always been happy with LJ (despite having been around for all the fail), partially because I'm worried the splits in friends pages will cause drama and heartache, and partially because I'd really, really rather stay at the site where the people are--where bandom is.

Twitter is seriously amazing. 4/5 of TAI have one, now!

Yep, drama will occur for sure, unfortunately. I'd rather be where the people are too, but I think a significant amount might move, but we'll see.

It's good to know people still like lj, it makes me fell better. ;)

Splinter sites are stressful. Even if it takes off, I doubt the entirety of my f-list will go either way, and there will be choices, and it will be annoying.

I am so looking forward to a bunch of adorable, poorly-spelled tweets. (I hate that word so much, still.) Also, now that the rest of the band has 'em, Mike Carden will have to conform, right?

Oh that PStump, such a non-conformist! Everyone else in TAI has a twitter and a myspace or blog. I would like to think that William will nag Mike into joining this century at some point...

It's really rare that he talks about anything but the band/music in general, so I am really, really curious as to what he would say.

Also, dude--the MyChem fic you recced me is ace. I'm halfway through the second part and already considering proposing marriage to the writer. Punk references! Lord of the Rings references! Bandom references! General awesomeness!

Drunk, dorky, music-y charm!

I have never seen a fic that included as much of what I want out of a high school AU in a high school AU. This was seriously molded from dreams. I may propose when I get to the end.
