Finally, an update.
Ok, so, sorry I've been absent for a while. I really meant to post an update, but it kinda got away from me. ;)
Anyway, Christmas was ok. Not especially bad or anything. I did a lot of cooking, which was great. I made an awesome trifle which I'm ridiculously proud of. Everything from scratch, and it was very alcoholic. I used sherry and brandy, very nice. :D
I hope everyone had good Christmas's [or, a good collection of random days in December ;)].
In other news, I'm going camping for a few days. Just me and my dad, we're leaving in the morning [Monday, it's late afternoon Sunday now] and won't be back until Wednesday. I don't know where exactly, but it's somewhere along the coast, and it'll be hot, so I'm gonna try and see if I can get a tan. ;) I was away for a huge chunk of summer last year, so I've been very pale for quite a while now. The fact that I don't go out much probably hasn't helped. ;)
And in even more news, I've fallen in love with AAR, ridiculously. I've had their self-titled album for a while now, and liked it, but when I got When The World Comes Down I fell completely. Also, mintyfiend has been awesome and encouraged the love. And I have to say, they are one of the most pretty bands I've ever seen. Seriously, they are all completely gorgeous. So I've been seeking AAR fanfic, and it's awesome, but there just isn't much of it. :( I'm gonna upload some music, and do a picspam when I get back. I'm very excited. :) Also, I'm ECSTATIC that I'm going to get to see them play! It's really weird that I'm more excited to see the opening bands than FOB, isn't it? Now, to find icons!
