Magikarp, huh? They're tough to work with, but train it anyway. You just might be surprised with a little time.

Mareep are pretty useful, too, if the forms of the ones I've seen are anything to go by.

Yeah, it definitely pays off, even with something like Magikarp. Plus, they kind of have a mind of their own, which is probably why he followed you in the first place. So try not to get too frustrated with them -- they'll remember it.

The shy ones usually take a little time warming up to people, but they're just as good as the ones that are more friendly.

You're right. Just because someone is shy does not mean that they are not strong.

Niha! She sounds like Akio. He's kinda shy around cameras too. [She nods her head happily.] Yup! I know she'll be really strong soon. She has a strong trainer! [Magikarps scare her a tiny bit. Janga told her a story of a giant fish that eats people, so she thinks Magikarp might be one of those fish.]
