(no subject)
It's so amazingly hard to believe that there is only a few weeks before everyone leaves for college, some have even left already or will be leaving soon. This summer has been such a blur--everything happening too fast. I'm just thrilled I've been able to have a lot of fun and do a lot of the things I planned on doing. The last few weeks of my summer are going to be CRAZY! Hopefully I'll be able to make the most of them, let me rephrase that, I WILL MAKE THE MOST OF THEM! :)
This past week I went to the Tundra Lodge with the FCCLA chapter at the high school. For the most part I had a good time, but the waterpark doesn't compare to Noah's Ark. Other than that and the few hours of sleep I got I guess I'm glad I went.
Thursday I saw a lot of people I used to hang out back in Sophmore year. It was cool to seem them all again, no one has really changed, which is good! Friday a few of us just hung out at my house until about midnight (my parents were out of town all weekend) and then went to a party. I was soooo tired that I coulda fallen asleep by the bonfire. So by 1:45 I was back home in my bed, and it was soo nice!
Yesterday Mashl took me to her cabin and I had a great time. It was nice just to be able to lay out, relax, and catch up on life. I'm really excited for the weekend I go back up so I can go tubing and have a blast with all the crazy girls. After she dropped me off at about 4:15 I quicked showered and got ready and drove out to Paluka's (had to be there at 5). I made it just in time for dinner(it was my friends' gpa's 80th bday party). Our table ended up having a cake fight, only me, chris, abby and her cousin avoided the mess! Later that night I just had a few people over and we just sat around, played card games and fell asleep by 2ish. I don't really like being home alone so normally when the rents are gone my house will have visitors.
Today I think a bunch of us are going to a drive-in movie...that or we're going clubbing!
