I may be slightly obessed...
Not gonna lie. I am slightly obsessed with Jason Mraz. Can you blame me, though? I mean, look at him. Or listen to him. He is a gorgeous man with a gorgeous voice. His lyrics are actually meaningful, which is saying a lot in today's world of music.
I named my fish Jason, by the way.
So my mom told me a few weeks ago that my uncle knew Jason Mraz personally, and I almost had a heart attack. I literally fell out of the chair I was sitting in and had to catch my breath. I believe the conversation went something like this:
Me: WHAT?!?
Mom: Yeah, when Uncle Blake lived in Oregon he met Jason and I think had him over for dinner a few times.
Me: guhhhhhhhh...
Mom: I don't know if they're still in touch, now, but they knew him before he got famous. I have some copies of his first few CDs at home, I think.
Me: Does...can...what? Oh my god.
Mom: Yeah, I know! I thought you knew that.
Me: Do you think they have his phone number?
And it went on from there. I emailed my uncle, but he hasn't responded yet. But it was easily one of the most exciting moments of my life.
If he appeared right now and asked me to marry him, I would be like, HELL YES and run off with him. Screw college. Screw everything if I can screw him. :)
