Now, I'm not really one for awards shows, but I must admit that this year's Academy Awards are making me smile. And I thought that the choir of people making sound effects with just their voices (and maybe hands?) was pretty amazing because I'm a choir-dork like that.

happy, oscars

...Does SIMH stand for Song (or Stuck) In My Head? I'VE BEEN WONDERING FOR SO LONG. But now perhaps I have figured it out!

And hm yeah I watched the entiiiire Academy Awards show. And now I will get very little sleep because they just ended ohmygod.

One of these years I will succeed in seeing more than like...two...of the nominated films, haha. I saw and loved the Departed though, and that won big things. So that was cool.

Yeah wow and I read like three pages of our spanishbook and it would be really kindof amazing if we had no school to-morrow but I'm thinking we will have school so I'll just feel like a jerk in Spanish like I often do for not having my work done. I honestly haven't even finished that quiz I haven't passed in; I keep forgetting about it.

WOW I AM RAMBLY.
GOODNIGHT.

Hahaha, yes it does! Back in the day (like... way back in the day of personal sites and webrings and forums) I made a clique called Stuck in my Head, and it got pretty popular and people had at the end of their blogs "SIMH: (insert some trendy punk 2003-4 song here)." This, I think, was before everyone listened to music when on the computer, so it caught on.

Haha, yeah, I watched like an hour of the Academy Awards. Up until Melissa Etheridge, I think, which was pretty awesome because she had a twelve string!!

And, I finished Act I of the Spanish play. And it is sooo good. Of course, I didn't get ANY of the extended symbolism, but I was reading it and just having a good time. I found that I was looking up fewer and fewer words as time progressed. Though I did fill close to a page with the words I looked up. And! We have a snow day! So you have plenty of time to read, haha!

Melissa Etheridge's song was prettyyyy awesome. I'm still scared to watch An Inconvenient Truth though! Agggh but I must.

Oh man I've got a lot of reading left to do. But! I have until Wednesday! So, that's good. Yay.

THIS SNOW DAY MADE ME SO HAPPY. I went to sleep at like onethirty this morning and I woke up like "we're not going to have a snowday..." but I checked and read the words CANCELLED and rejoiced. Yay.

Don't be scared! An Inconvenient Truth was more eye-opening and inspiring than we're all going to die. Though I haven't seen Super Size Me, everyone tells me that it's like, "I'm never eating any kind of fast food ever ever again!" And An Inconvenient Truth wasn't like that. It was... about half and hour too long for my tastes, but it was still very good.

You can get it done. :) It actually went really, really fast for me once I got into it. The pages are really thick, and there isn't all that much writing on them! Haha, my friends are corrupting me.
