Random Thoughts...
So, I'm on my dad's computer for the week, and whenever I put in a password for any website, like MySpace, etc. Firefox pops up and asks me what I would like to do with it, "Remember," "Never For This Site," or "Not Now." And I always click "Not Now." Which then gets Goodbye Love stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
And I can't stand it when people get angry at others online in some kind of public forum, and cite their poor "grammer" skills to discredit them. Because, even if I'm agreeing with the one who's arguing, I can't help but cringe at their misspelling. Because that only helps discredit them. (Case in point.) If that makes any sense at all.
Ani DiFranco's album Imperfectly is amazing. Like it's one of those albums I can keep going back to, all the time. Recently I've been listening to Dave Matthews and Jen Chapin, but I just read over some of the lyrics to said album, and I was immediately like, "Oh, I need to listen to it again!"
Even though I've been sick for the majority of LUNCH camp (actually leaving early and not going for the past few days, ew...) I have been there long enough to know that Bill is planning a song that superimposes My Heart Will Go On from Titanic and Suzanne Vega's Luka. And he was just running through it super-roughly with us a few days ago, and I was seriously welling up, it's that heart-wrenching. Granted, I also wasn't in the best state of mind at the time, but this is the closest a song has gotten me to tears in a very long time. I was kind of bummed that the rest of the kids didn't really get it because they hadn't heard Luka before (a travesty, haha!). But they sing My Heart Will Go On in three-part harmony that is SO BEAUTIFUL it gives me chills. Yeah, that's about it. Maybe they'll sing it at my school so the school kids can hear it?
