today I video chatted with my entire family, while they were celebrating my nephews 3rd birthday. The only words I kept hearing out of peoples mouths were, "you look fantastic!" and my grandma said I looked like a movie star. I got to watch Jack blow out his candles, and then my mom counted to 3 and everyone sang me 'happy birthday'. i cried.
i was out to lunch and my mom left me a message- she said I looked fantastic and happy, and that she missed me. I was shocked by how genuine my mom said that, like there was no hidden agenda or 'keep it up' lurking behind it. it really made me feel like an adult.
