E3 2k5!
Okay.... Whew! My version of "Hotel Shenanigans" follows.
Well, read Adam's spiel.... 'cause that's about it. The only thing that differs is that I didn't follow them to Anaheim, as I really didn't care where I stayed. I tried my ass off to get some hotel rooms again back at the EconoLodge, but it didn't work out. Again, dealing with total sleazes. Now, don't get me wrong, as I love hotels. But I had met some pretty cool folks at the Adventurer (yes, it was crap... but the bar-scene was fun :) ) and I knew that they had dorms available for cheap, so I just stayed in the Hostel. 20 racks in a room, with showers. Nothing special, but it was a place to sleep, and I'm used to that sort of thing. I can see how that is extremely uncomfortable and undesirable for the normal person, but I am WAY beyond normal :) Hell, as far as I saw it, it was Hilton as long as I was getting into E3 the next day.
So apologies for booking on everyone, but the Anaheim trip was just not cool for me. I kind of feel that I fucked over everyone since they didn't have my share of the fees that I committed to, so feel free to charge me; I'll understand.
As for E3? Totally worth the hassels. That write-up is soon to follow, once decompression is complete.
