I saw a movie yesterday.

And it rocked soooo hard. It was called "The time of your life" and it was made in 1948. It was really, really, really good.... think about watching it. Also I saw a t-shirt that said "It isn't easy being easy." Good times!

Yeah but we were the cool ones who poured our hearts out on Livejournal before Facebook and Myspace ever came along, teaching us to hold in our hearts and pour only one drop of blood.

We communicated on Livejournal in more subtle and passionate ways; there were no boxes for "relationship status" or "what are you doing right now." When we wanted to talk about relationships we would write an entire journal entry about how wonderful our crush was; now facebook just adds the sterile phrase "no longer listed a single" to the update page, and people can know that we're in a relationship withougt knowing if the person makes our heart burn with passion or just warm up a few degrees.

Livejournal used to lay us the burden of reading an entire journal entry to find out "What Lindsay is doing" and it was a burden we were damned lucky to have!

There are volumes of lost knowlege between the one lined declarations of facebook
